A & L Fiberglass was formed in 1989 as a boat repair fiberglass shop in Trainer, PA. We began building boats in 1992 with the introduction of the 8' Pram and our version of the famous "Jersey Speed Skiff".

After a move to Cocoa, FL in 1995, we saw a need for a good quality shallow water boat that could be sold at a reasonable price and began the planning phase of our "Lagoon Classic 160". The boat hull is basically as outboard version of our Speed Skiff, built from the same mold.

The prototype boat, a center console with 50 HP outboard performs above and beyond all expectation This first "Lagoon Boat: is fished regularly by a happy owner John DiSanti of Cocoa, who was instrumental in it's design and concept. The addition of a smaller boat, the "Lagoon Sprint & Sport" series was introduced for the 2002 model year and to date out sells our Classic.

For 2003 we've added the "Lagoon Heron" to the lineup. At 16' and 6'6" beam, its pretty much a larger version of the successful Sprint/Sport hull, with the addition of many standard features, we think the Lagoon Heron is the best value for the price in the market today for this size package.

With four Lagoon Boat models to offer, the Lagoon Sprint, Lagoon Sport, Lagoon Classic and Lagoon Heron, we stay pretty busy building boats. Although boat repair remains an important part of our business, please visit www.alfiberglass.com to see some examples of our repair and restoration work.
